We love our bikes!

The main reason is that I think these bikes work SO well for kids.  They are lightweight, and have multiple speeds, because of this the kids are able to ride much farther and on more difficult terrain than if they had the standard 'huge mountain bike'.

If you go to any store, the only thing they have for kids are really, really heavy steel bikes.  These bikes are a wonderful alternative.

Also, because they fold up, we can neatly store them INSIDE the camper and not have to worry about them being rained on, or stolen.

It takes 30 hours to get to the Florida Keys from WI. This time around, we want to do it in the shortest time possible. Here's how we travel in our BRV (big red van) with 5 kids all the way to the keys.

Our first RV Solar installation had a glaring problem that I didn't realize until I researched the battery manufacturer website. Now that our solar setup is perfect, I want to run the AC anytime as well :)

In this video I show you the components we use for our solar, as well as the generator we carry so we can run anything in our camper anytime we like. The key is having the generator in a spot where you essentially forget about it until you want it.

We celebrate Lojo's birthday and accomplish one of our goals on the trip - to make it from the Atlantic all the way to the Pacific!.

Being down south all winter did not prepare us for crazy Wisconsin Springtime. We've seen more snow in April than the whole winter! At the end of the day, we had over 6 feet of snow in ONE spot!

The kids thoughts the rocks were awesome at Quartzsite, but the next day we found some AWESOME rocks to climb at Joshua Tree! We also learn about the chollas and how NOT to touch them.

We get stuck in Tucson with some Van trouble, and wouldn't you know it - we are just a small hike from Old Tucson Studios, where we spend a few days taking it all in!

We had a blast sledding the hills at White Sands. Just down the road, you can find some nice, free BLM public land as well!

Big bend was an unexpected treat! We honestly didn't think that we would like it as much as we did. The hikes were awesome, the hot springs swimming was great, and pretty much everything about Big Bend will keep us coming back again!
